MALISA is an Oakland-ased Illustrator born and raised in Singapore. 

She finds joy in reflecting on her world and the human experience, capturing moments that are oftentimes overlooked. Drawing from personal experiences, meditating on relationships, and celebrating the beauty of the human body are all recurring themes in her work. She has a strong attraction to natural and organic subjects, using art as a platform to create dialogues between life and death, man and nature, peace and conflict. 

Using watercolors, gouache, and acrylic as her main medium, she remains a lover of traditional art in a technological age.
